Developed by Security First Networks, xPoint is the first of its kind Facility Operating System (FOS), deployed on our Facility Control Network (FCN).

xPoint does for the facilities domain what Microsoft has done for the office, collectively unifying all of the sub-systems found in facilities operations and management. Integrating through xPoint connectors, communications, visibility and control of the facility are extended through a mobile web based portal over an network engineered to support the special requirements of facilities control systems.

In addition, xPoint delivers the architecture to unify the physical and environmental systems of the facility in support of the objectives of the IT security group.

xPoint is technology built on the cutting edge research of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the National Infrastructure Security Co-ordination Center (NISCC) in their studies of SCADA system security.
